Our commitment
At the heart of REDMADE's daily work and success are values shared by the entire team, such as mutual support and helping others.
On these fundamental principles is oriented the social commitment of the company, which for several years has married the projects of theThird World Aid Onlus association, which operates mainly in Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Bolivia).
The strength of this association is its concrete ability to transform, thanks to the enthusiasm and stubbornness of the lay missionaries on the ground, a small economic contribution into real projects and prospects for local realities.
Built in 2003, the center La Sonrisa welcomes young women, with their children, who are often victims of violence or come from situations of degradation and neglect. They are offered a bed, a meal, basic health care, psychological support and training through manual workshops.
La Fabrica de la Sonrisa was founded in 2009 with the aim of welcoming girls who come from poor families in suburban villages, offering them concrete support in their university studies. The association fully covers the expected expenses (university fees, books, transportation, room and board) and guarantees the female students an all-round education.
In 2014, the association initiated, involving university girls housed at La Fabrica de la Sonrisa, a project based on the cultivation of papayas.
Through the sale of the papayas at the Santa Cruz market, a useful profit will be obtained to improve the living conditions of families living in rural communities, especially supporting the health emergencies of these people. Finally, part of the proceeds will be used to build brick houses for the poorest families, who are forced to live in dwellings made of mud and straw.
