From 2007, when Vincenzo Reda founded the company together with his wife Antonella Pomiato, to 2024: over the years, we have approached the field of LED technology with companies that have proven professionalism in the field of lighting behind them and that deal with all aspects related to the finished product: design, integration with the environment, type of application and photometry regulatory requirements. The role of Universal Science Srl in Italy has always been to offer customers a collaborative service in the development of quality LED systems.

Our work has been and still is an operation of continuous adjustment and consolidation of the structure, of research into new applications and new sectors of use.
Over time, we have delved into the field of horticulture and UV lighting.
In the first case, there are numerous advantages brought by LED lighting. These include: the low energy consumption, and therefore the saving of management costs, the drastic reduction of the heat produced by the lighting source and the wider spectral emission that is more easily adaptable to the different types of crops grown and to the growth phases of the same.
In the second case, LED is an excellent alternative to traditional lamps. In particular, in recent years, with the health emergency due to Covid-19, LED technology has revolutionized and is still revolutionizing the world of sanitization and disinfection of environments and surfaces, but not only.
The peculiarities of LEDs and the flexibility of their use make it possible to expand their use in the medical field, in the drying of inks for printing systems, in air and water purification and in solar simulators for industrial test systems.
